ID Card for Summer Students - Students registered for most collegiate courses and institutes will be issued, if necessary, a University identification card at their program orientation or first class meeting. An ID card is required for access to several buildings and areas of the campus. For students residing in the Eastman Student Living Center, the card issued by the Student Living Center serves the same purposes and another card is not necessary. ALL Visitor ID cards must be returned at the student’s last class session.

International students are responsible for securing all needed travel documents and U.S. Immigration documents.

 

The Sibley Music Library is one of the finest music libraries in the world. Summer Session students may gain access to full privileges of Sibley Library with their ID card (see ID card section). Library hours for Summer Session 2008 will be:

The Writing and Study Skills Center (WSSC) - The Writing and Study Skills Center (WSSC) will be open this summer to anyone participating in any Eastman course, program, or institute. The WSSC will be open to matriculated Eastman students, whether or not they are enrolled in Summer Session classes. You can visit the WSSC on the fifth floor of the Main Building, Room ESM 506, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 11 a.m.–2 p.m., July 1–August 7. For more information, contact the WSSC director in Room 506.

Computers - A limited number of Macintosh computers are available in various locations for student use during Summer Session. The Internet Café in the basement of the Main Building has computers that are available for Internet communication; however, printers are not available. The student computing center in the Student Living Center is available to all students who are taking collegiate courses. An ID card is required to access these areas.
