The Return of Eastman “Classic” Institutes
- The Summer Conducting Institute (Neil Varon, director) provides the opportunity for advanced conductors to conduct the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra in rehearsal.
- Eastman Sings! (Robert McIver, director) An intensive institute presented by members of the collegiate voice department provides deep exposure to a pantheon of vocal topics.
- Eastman Choral Institute Week I (William Weinert, director, with Robert McIver, Susan Conkling, and Gregory Ristow). Conduct Voices, the chamber chorus in residence.
- Eastman Choral Institute Week II (William Weinert, director, with special guest Robert Page). Advanced conductors will conduct Voices, the chamber chorus in residence.
- Eastman Trombone Institute master classes and chamber music with Mark Kellogg and guests:James Martin, John Marcellus, Lisa Albrecht, Mark Salatino and Chris Azzara.
- The Practical Harpist returns, with Kathleen Bride, director, and special guest Patricia Masri-Fletcher, principal harp of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
