Application 2012  This form is to be used for all Institutes, all Collegiate Courses and all Advanced High School programs. .

For Community Music School programs (listed under High School, Middle School, Youth and Adults), this form may be used instead: ECMS Summer_2012

Audition information:

Some programs require a sound or video recording as part of the application. Please check the detailed description for each program by clicking on the link below for the specific requirements or direct contact information.

Music Horizons (applications must be postmarked by April 16   May 15)
Summer Jazz Studiesapplications still being accepted for Trumpet, Trombone and Piano only
Eastman Summer Saxophone Institute
Eastman Summer Percussion Institute
Summer Conducting Institute (orchestral only) (application deadline extended to April 13)

Registration Deadlines:
Applications for all courses not listed above must be postmarked by June 1.

Application Procedures:
Page A: Please provide all of the requested personal information in the top section of the form and choose the most appropriate Enrollment Status.

Housing: if you would like to stay in the Student Living Center, please indicate the check-in date and the check-out date.  To calculate the number of nights, count the arrival day but not the departure date. Multiply this number by $68 to arrive at the total housing cost.

Payment: Full payment of tuition and housing (if applicable) must accompany your application with the exception of Music Horizons, Summer Jazz Studies and the Summer Conducting Institute. For Music Horizons and Summer Jazz Studies, only the $25 application fee is due with the application. There is no application fee for the Summer Conducting Institute. For these three programs, if you are accepted, detailed payment instructions and deadlines will be sent with your acceptance letter.  Note: Collegiate students matriculated at Eastman must follow the current billing and payment processes required by the University of Rochester Bursar’s Office.

Page B: All students not currently enrolled in an Eastman degree program must complete the Educational History section or attach a music resume.
