Collegiate students, teachers, and professionals
- Summer Institutes are offered in conducting, choral and vocal music, world music, early music, music education, music theory, music technology, brass, percussion, harp, organ, Orff Schulwerk and Dalcroze methods, and other varied areas of interest. These institutes can be taken as noncredit workshops or as credit-carrying courses that may be accepted toward undergraduate or graduate degree completion at the Eastman School of Music and other institutions. Please check with your home institution regarding its acceptance of specific Institute credits.
- Collegiate Courses are offered in applied music, music composition, English as a Second Language, music education, music history, and music theory. Note that most courses are for graduate-level students and carry full academic credit.
Pre-collegiate students and adults
Community Music School Courses are noncredit courses and programs designed to challenge students, to build skills in career-track high school students, and to nurture the musical abilities of devoted amateur musicians of any age.
