In addition to Kilbourn and Howard Hanson Halls, student recitals also take place in Louis P. Ciminelli Formal Lounge, located in the Student Living Center (100 Gibbs St.). This beautiful, intimate, wood-paneled lounge features Steinway grand and upright pianos, superior acoustics, an adjacent green room, and self-service recording equipment. It is a popular place for non-degree recitals given at students' own initiative, and is the location of choice for auditions held by summer music programs. This elegant, comfortable venue is in constant use for recitals, master classes, lectures, and special events.
