Bogna McGarrigle

Bogna McGarrigle Bogna McGarrigle began playing piano at the age of seven in her native country of Poland. She studied eurythmics and piano in high school and continued eurythmics studies in 1998 at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. In 2003, she was awarded the master's degree in Sacred Music and Choir Conducting with honors from the Academy of Music in Krakow.

In 2002, she began her study in organ performance with Joachim Grubich at the Academy of Music in Krakow. In addition to studying and performing at the Academies of Music in Krakow and Warsaw, she has attended master classes and summer courses throughout Europe taught by Guy Bovet, Gerhard Gnann, Hans Metzger, Liuwe Tamminga, James David Christie, and Julian Gembalski.

While independently continuing her studies in Krakow, McGarrigle is working towards a Master of Music degree in Organ Performance and Literature at the Eastman School of Music in the studio of Hans Davidsson. Having served as organist in various churches in Poland, she is now organist of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencerport, New York.
