Anne Cheuk Bun Lam

Anne Lam Born in Hong Kong, Anne (Cheuk Bun) Lam is a student of David Higgs at the Eastman School of Music, where she is pursuing the Master of Music degree in Organ Performance and Literature on a full scholarship from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund.

Anne won several prizes in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival competitions, and she has been awarded diplomas with distinctions in both piano and organ performance by the Associated Board of Royal School of Music (London) and the Trinity College of Music (London). She studied organ performance with Siu Ling Chiu and Kin Yu Wong at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and served as university organist. She also accompanied the university choir and orchestra. From 2003 to 2006, she taught at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, where houses the largest mechanical concert hall organ in Southeast Asia.

Apart from the prestigious Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund Scholarship, Anne has been awarded numerous scholarships for organ studies in Canada, Europe, and the United States, including the Ann Anway Scholarship, Betty Bauer Scholarship, C. F. Hu Postgraduate Scholarship, Mount Royal Conservatory Scholarship, and Parsons Music Foundation Scholarship. Anne is Music Director and Organist of Zion Episcopal Church in Palmyra, New York. She also serves as the Choir Minister and Accompanist for the Rochester Chinese Christian Church.
