Since her move from Los Angeles, California in 1999, Grace Wang has performed extensively as a freelance artist in the Rochester Community. Currently pursuing a degree of Doctor of Musical Arts in organ performance at Eastman School of Music, Ms. Wang holds a B.A., summa cum laude, from University of California, Los Angeles and a M.M. from University of Southern California. Her principle teachers include Thomas Harmon, Cherry Rhodes, Hans Davidsson, and David Higgs. Ms. Wang has distinguished herself with many honors and recognitions. In addition to being the first prize winner of the Atwater Kent Organ Competition, she holds the membership of Pi Kappa Lambda (the National Music Honor Society) and numerous scholarship awards. Her leadership experience includes chairing the education and telephone committees at the Los Angeles Chapter of American Guild of Organists.
