On Monday, January 6, 32 of Eastman's organ students and faculty departed for a two-week study trip to Göteborg, Sweden. Pictured below, you see the amazing North German Baroque instrument built by the GOArt Organ Center. This instrument is one of the main reasons for our visit and it was the site of many study sessions and almost round the clock student practice.

The study tour schedule included seminars, masterclasses, group and individual lessons, eight student recitals at five different venues, a concert by David Higgs, and lots of time for exploring the wonderful and diverse collection of instruments in Göteborg.
