Lunch Recital at Haga
At noon on Thursday we were treated to a lunchtime recital at the Hagakyrkan performed by Corey Powell and Robert Kwan. Corey played selections from the Convent Mass by François Couperin and Robert performed the Messa Della Domenica from Fiori Musicali by Girolamo Frescobaldi. These period examples of French and Italian music worked exceptionally well, showing the versatility of the Germanic organ built by Amerian John Brombaugh.
