Mark Pacoe Practicing
Each of us is scheduled to perform during one of the student recitals on our study trip. The instruments here at Göteborg have been made available for our practice and we have been practicing. Wednesday morning I walked into the Artisten concert hall to find Mark Pacoe hard at work, preparing for his role in the concert on Thursday night. He is playing the Allegro from Symphonie No. 6 by Charles-Marie Widor, a piece that is ideally suited for the Cavaille-Coll inspired instrument in the Artisten concert hall.
