North German Masters
Thursday afternoon we returned to Örgryte for a masterclass on the North German Masters. Professors Porter and Davidsson explained some of the combinations and ensemble registrations of the North German organ then Professor Porter improvised to give us a sound picture. Then Professor Porter played for us the Chorale Fantasia by Reincken on the tune An Wasserflüssen Babylon.
