Our seminar this morning focused on new techniques in ensemble improvisation incorporating the organ and on a particular composition technique incorporating the spoken rythmns of speech.
Professor is studying the results of ensemble free improvisation sessions to document any patterns of gestures that may or may not occur.
Professor Carl Axel Hall demonstrating the development of rythmic ideas and motives that are threaded throughout his composition.
