Play in IVC 2012 Master Classes

We are pleased to announce the viola master classes planned for IVC 2012. See the entire list below. Please note specific repertoire requirements for certain classes.

If you wish to apply to participate in a master class, the following is required:

  1. A printed and completed IVC 2012 Master Class Application Form
  2. A CD recording of two (2) contrasting movements or pieces that you would like to present in a class. Please submit repertoire that fits the requirements for the classes you request on the application form. If you are applying for orchestral repertoire classes, please send a recording of three (3) contrasting excerpts instead.
  3. A $20 processing fee–please make checks out to the Eastman School of Music with “IVC 2012″ on the subject line.

Please send all application materials to:

Eastman School of Music

The application deadline is April 1st, 2012. All application materials must be received by then to be considered.

Please note: We will do our very best to place all applicants in a master class, however, due to the limited number and length of classes, we cannot promise that submitting an application will guarantee a performance slot in a class. Performers who apply early will be given priority–submit your applications now!
