Support the IVC 2012

Dear Colleagues and Friends of the Viola,

We most cordially invite you to participate in the 40th International Viola Congress as sponsors, exhibitors, and advertisers.

Under our theme of “What’s Past is Prologue”, IVC 2012 promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime event featuring concerts, master classes, lectures, and panel discussions by some of the world’s most prominent performers, pedagogues, and scholars of our instrument.  We look forward to sharing with our audience Eastman’s exceptionally beautiful performance venues, including our brand new Hatch Recital Hall, the newly renovated Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre, and the historic Kilbourn Hall.  We are also thrilled to feature viola concerto collaborations with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.

We have a star-studded roster of artists in the works for IVC 2012, all of whom will be donating their performances and presentations free of charge, as International Viola Society rules do not permit any violists to receive a fee at an IVC. There are however, significant production costs which go along with such a large scale endeavor, and we do need funding in order to make this happen.

Included here for download is a list that contains suggested levels of sponsorship as well as specific advertising and exhibition pricing, the latter being there for you in the event that your business could benefit from this sponsorship.

Please contact us at your earliest convenience to discuss this in more detail.  We look forward to working with each of you individually to create mutually beneficial partnerships in this exciting endeavor.

Sincerely,

Carol Rodland Phillip Ying
