Information concerning aspects of the school’s instructional programs is available from this office. The Office of Academic and Student Affairs administers all of the following directly: applied music teacher assignments, special requests for exceptions to curriculum requirements, academic review (warning, probation, dismissal), changes of academic (major, degree) and enrollment (inactive, withdrawal) status, Take Five for Eastman students, Conservatory Exchange advising, advising of dual degree students, Professional Development funding, Teaching Assistant Prize, and student use of the School’s rare stringed instruments. Several certificate and diploma programs are also supervised through this office: Sacred Music Diploma, Ethnomusicology Diploma, World Music Certificate and the Certificate in Community and/or Collegiate Teaching,
