Launching Nov. 1, Polyphonic On Campus, companion to Polyphonic.org, is written by young musicians for young musicians, and it offers a forum where artists with emerging careers and students poised to enter the industry can connect. More than 50 senior administrators from U.S. higher education music schools attended the Eastman School of Music’s workshop on “The Entrepreneurial Music School in a Challenging Economy” at the National Association of Schools of Music’s meeting last November in San Diego.
Eastman New Venture Challenge listed in the New York Times Business Plan Competition Guide
Now listed in the New York Times Business Plan Competition Guide, the Eastman New Venture Challenge is a contest to encourage new thinking and innovative ideas in music. It gives students the opportunity to develop a project proposal that could result in winning up to $2,000 to help launch a new entrepreneurial initiative.
