ALP Workshop: Putting Your Audience Center Stage - featuring fifth house ensemble
Saturday, October 13, 1:00 - 3:00 pm
Eastman East Wing 415 (new rehearsal hall)
As classical musicians, much of what we focus on has to do with crafting programs. Mostly Mozart? Basically Beethoven? Russian Night? Symphony…Fantastic! We know how to create thematic connections between musical works, but is that what it takes to engage new audiences in our art? Join us as members of the innovative Chicago-based chamber group, fifth house ensemble, lead the group in exploring new ideas and models in which the audience is the focus not just in messaging, but in program design.
Event open to all Eastman Weekend registrants and current Eastman students & faculty.
Free, but registration required by Friday, October 5 to alp@esm.rochester.eduPutting Your Audience Center Stage Slides
