William WeinertProfessor of Conducting and EnsemblesDirector, Choral Activities Spring 2010 Academic Leave Conducted the Eastman Chorale on a recent concert tour to Oberlin, Detroit, and Buffalo. Performances at Eastman: Handel's Solomon (December 14, 2003); Beethoven's Missa Solemnis (April 16, 2004); Schumann's Scenes from Goethe's Faust (December, 2005); Vaughan Williams' A Sea Symphony (April 2006). Dr. Weinert was invited to return to the Musikhochschule in Freiburg, Germany, to conduct a concert with their chorus in June 2004. In June 2006 he chaired a panel discussion on the Training of Tomorrow's Conductors at the Chorus America National Convention in Washington DC.
