Biography

Jennifer Burch has played second horn for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra since 1992. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she received a bachelor’s degree in music/horn performance. Upon graduation, Ms. Burch played for the Richmond Symphony. Her seven-year appointment included playing both the third and principal positions. Her passion for teaching has flourished since coming to Rochester. She is on the faculties of Roberts Wesleyan College, Nazareth College, the Hochstein School of Music and Dance, and the Eastman School of Music.  Since 2004, Jennifer Burch has been a part-time Eastman faculty member, assisting in the horn studio of Peter Kurau.
