Health Services

The health and wellness of Eastman students are of continual concern to the faculty and staff. Medical care is available to Eastman students 24 hours a day through the University Health Service. A physician is on duty on-site two days each week, and a physical therapist also is on staff, on-site. Instruction is available in yoga, Feldenkrais, Mensendieck, and Alexander Technique.

The mandatory health fee provides full-time students with access to medical care 12 months a year. An optional extended policy is available. The standard fee includes up to 10 psychotherapy sessions per year through the University's Counseling Center. A nurse and dispensary at the Student Living Center provide convenient on-site health care five days each week.

All students should note that New York State requirements for immunization are extremely strict. Students are not allowed to register for classes without proof of immunization.
