Additional Information for Graduate Students

The River Campus of the University of Rochester, located 3.5 miles from Eastman, has graduate student housing units. The University offers apartments for one person or for entire families. There is a shuttle bus which runs from this outlying complex to the River Campus and to Eastman. For further information, you may contact:

The Eastman Student Living Center, located one block away from the Main Building of the Eastman School, is also able to accommodate a limited number of graduate students. This facility, designed primarily as undergraduate housing, has both single and double rooms. It is recommended that resident graduate students sign up for a dining plan, since kitchen facilities are limited and cooking in rooms is not allowed. The room cost for the 2001-2002 school year was $4,885; board costs range from $1,200 to $3,700 per year, depending on the type of plan chosen.

Room furnishings include loft furniture (bed, desk, dresser, wardrobe, chair), carpeting and a telephone. Each room as cable and internet connections if you desire.
