Rachael Sanguinetti

Rachael Sanguinetti is a PhD student at the Eastman School of Music and an adjunct professor of music education at Nazareth University. Prior to teaching at the collegiate level, Rachael taught K-12 general music and chorus for 7 years in Pittsford, NY. She has presented at conferences across the country including the NAfME National Conference, the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Winter and Summer conferences, the NAfME Eastern Division conference, and the APME conference. Rachael’s recently published scholarship centers around topics of secondary general music, self-determination theory, and popular music. Rachael received her BM from the Eastman School of Music and her MM from Ithaca College.
