Prerequisite
NYSSMA Level 4 to 6 or equivalent, audition and permission of instructor required.

Course Goal
The students will:
-
Cooperate and interact with classmates in different formats, including the actual playing, discussions, critics, etc.

Practice the leadership abilities by leading the performance or group discussion

Improve themselves by observing and learning from others
-
Obtain stronger performance techniques on bowings, vibrato, intonation, rhythm, and sight-reading, etc.

Establish the essential abilities to analyze and interpret the notation, and the styles of the music.

Know the variety of the music repertoire related to the performance technique.

Develops flexibility, articulation, and strength for their music path

Grading
80% Class attendance, assignment and technical practice
in each class
20% concert / class recital and ECMS performance events
