As a student of Alla Kuznetsov, Joseph has successfully participated in several competitions during this school year. Here are the results.

September 2008

1st Place in the Thousand Islands international piano competition

October 2008

1st Place in the Empire State Competition, Empire High School Piano

November 2009

Finalist, 6th prize in Julia Crane International Piano competition, SUNY Potsdam

March 2009

2nd place in Duquesne Young Artist competition 2009, solo division

March 14, 2009

1st place in Rochester Philharmonic League competition and special award -- performance with the RPO.

April 2009

Joseph also won the Duquesne Concerto Competition and will perform Prokofiev Concerto #1 with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra next season..
