Thursday Lunchtime Concerts

Concerts take place every Thursday at the First Universalist Church, corner of South Clinton and Court Streets, beginning at 12:15 p.m. and ending at approximately 12:45 p.m. Brown bag lunches are welcome during the performances. Admission is free.

| March 8 | Keyboard Music from Haydn to Debussy Pianist Cherry Tsang Chit Lai, from the studio of ESM professor Barry Synder, performs a recital of music by Haydn, Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Debussy. |
| March 15 | Songs and Poems Sandra Boysen, soprano, is joined by Alla Kuznetsov, pianist, in an afternoon of beautiful art songs including a set by poet Elizabeth Kirchner and music by Paul Stuart. |
| March 22 | Keyboard Extravaganza Soloists from the studio of ESM professor Thomas Schumacher perform an array of piano masterworks. |
| March 29 | Russian Masters Pianist Ines Draskovic performs music of Prokofiev and Scriabin. |
| April 5 | Canyon Echoes Flutist Sophia Gibbs Kim and guitarist Petar Kozdas perform Katherine Hoover’s hauntingly beautiful “Canyon Echoes” for flute and guitar duo. |
| April 12 | Piano Masterworks Enjoy this recital performed by Fang Zhang, pianist from the studio of ESM professor Thomas Schumacher. |
| April 19 | Le Trombone Français Catie Hickey, trombonist from the studio of ESM professor Mark Kellogg, is joined by Authur Williford and Jenn Panara in a recital featuring music of Martin, Berlioz, Debussy and Berghmans. |
| April 26 | Flutissimo The Eastman Community Music School Flute Choir, directed by Sophia Gibbs Kim, perform music for many flutes. |
| May 3 | Songs of Spring Enjoy music about love, flowers and creatures of spring as soprano Jennifer Gliere and pianist Michael Unger perform songs by Purcell, Clara Schumann, Reinhold Gliere and others. |
| May 10 | Flute Fantasia Flutist Karla Ordonez is joined by pianist Irina Lupynis in a concert featuring Widor’s Suite for Flute and Piano and Telemann’s Fantasy in A Minor for solo flute. |
| May 17 | Honors Finale I Honors diploma graduates from the Eastman Community Music School will dazzle and delight the audience! |
| May 24 | Honors Finale II More Honors graduates end the concert series with a flourish! |
