Thursday Lunchtime Concerts

Concerts take place every Thursday at the First Universalist Church, corner of South Clinton and Court Streets, beginning at 12:15 p.m. and ending at approximately 12:45 p.m. Brown bag lunches are welcome during the performances. Admission is free.

| Ocober 18 | Saxophone Quartet The season opens with the riveting sounds of the Ignis Fatuus Saxophone Quartet (members Jordan Sanlee, Brandon Kies, Gai-Qun and Quinn Lewis) performing music of Florios, Dubois, Bozza, and Ticheli. |
| October 25 | Vive La Valse! Pianist Yuri Blinov, doctoral student from the studio of ESM professor Nelita True, presents a program of waltzes by Chopin, Brahms and Ravel. |
| November 1 | Poulenc Sextet Five Degree Winds (members Haley Bangs, flute: Ian Wisekal, oboe; Jason Shafer, clarinet; Jenn Hostler, bassoon; Caitlin Martinkus, horn) will be joined by pianist Chia-Yu Chen in this charming chamber work. |
| November 8 | Eastman Chamber Music Society Enjoy the music of Brahms and Fauré performed by top graduate students from the Eastman School of Music. |
| November 15 | Piano for Two A special treat: Pianists Alla Kuznetsov and Tamari Gurevich perform music of Schubert and Brahms. |
| November 22 | No Concert. Happy Thanksgiving |
| November 29 | Etude Extravaganza Enjoy this recital by pianists from the studio of ESM professor Nelita True! |
| December 6 | Gypsy Dances Don’t miss guitarist Petar Kodzas performing his transcription of Spanish composer Joaquin Turrina’s Gypsy Dances Op. 55. |
| December 13 | Jazz at Noon Join us for a laid-back lunch hour as students of ESM professor Clay Jenkins perform popular American standards and jazz. |
| December 20 | The Russian Flute Flutist Sophia Gibbs Kim and pianist Irina Lupines perform Russian music for flute and piano. |
