Thursday Lunchtime Concerts

Concerts take place every Thursday at the First Universalist Church, corner of South Clinton and Court Streets, beginning at 12:15 p.m. and ending at approximately 12:45 p.m. Brown bag lunches are welcome during the performances. Admission is free.

| October 22 | Piano Extravaganza I Start off the new season with fabulous performances by students from the studio of ESM professor Douglas Humpherys. |
| October 29 | Piano Extravaganza II The second installment of masterworks for the keyboard. |
| November 5 | A Trombone in Paris Trombonist Megan Boutin, ESM graduate student from the studio of Mark Kellogg, performs with pianist Gregory Millar in a concert of virtuoso examination pieces from the Paris Conservatory. |
| November 12 | Brazilian Soul Don’t miss ECMS guitar instructor Petar Kodzas in a recital of solo guitar music by Radames Gnattali. |
| November 19 | Mark Filsinger Quartet Jazz trumpeter and Eastman Ph.D. candidate, Mark Filsinger, returns this fall with a quartet featuring Christopher Azzara on piano, Geoff Saunders on bass, and Chris Teal on drums. They will perform favorites from the American Songbook and jazz repertoire. |
| November 26 | No Concert. Happy Thanksgiving! |
| December 3 | Striking Strings Mitzie Collins leads this ensemble of hammered dulcimers — truly a special concert! |
| December 10 | Jazz at Noon Join us for a laid-back lunch hour as students of ESM professor Clay Jenkins performs popular American standards and jazz. |
| December 17 | Eastman Community Chamber Singers Ring in the sounds of the season with this vocal ensemble, under the direction of ECMS voice teacher Patricia Alexander. |
