OPTION II – Audition at a Regional Audition Center

A member of the Eastman staff will host each regional audition in early- to mid-January. There are generally no faculty members at regional sites; however, all recordings made at regional auditions are evaluated by the faculty. You need only choose one audition site for Option II. All auditions are performed unaccompanied, with the exception of vocal auditions. Voice applicants must provide their own accompanist at regional audition centers.

OPTION IV– Audition in Asia

The Eastman School of Music will be holding auditions in Asia in October 2007 in the following locations:

Seoul (South Korea), Taipei (Taiwan), Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok (Thailand).  Details about these auditions are found here.

Candidates wishing to audition in these cities must make an appointment through the local contact, and must subsequently complete a full Eastman application.  All auditions heard using this option will become part of a candidate's file and may be used instead of, or in addition to, Option I or III above.  Note that a separate application must be completed for Eastman by December 1 for this audition in Asia to be evaluated by the faculty. This audition may function as a prescreening audition recording for cello, piano, voice and graduate flute in advance of a live audition at Eastman.
